I won't say where I'm going...yet. I will say it's a long ride and I'm glad the minivan has a cooler for juice pouches - I just wish it had an onboard bathroom too.

And of course, I'll be pimping out shit the whole way: what I love about the 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite (it's more than just a pretty cup holder), my favorite blog posts from my archives, my favorite blog posts of other blogs I read, and of course, a question and answer time with me and the Hubs.

Hate to tell you that we here in the Frozen Tundra Upper Midwest are looking at record highs in the next few days. 100's may be normal for you southern folks, but this is cause for great meterological alarm up here. Plus we're in a drought in some areas.

I need Honda to loan me a MCC for my 16 hour road trip to Washington, DC next month. I'll have a 1 year old, an 8 year old, my husband, mother in-law and father in-law! I'm leaving the dog at home because I can't take any more stress! Vacations always make me want to climb in bed and stay there until it is over!
I hope you are going somewhere cool like the mountains (watch out for wildfires!). Nothing beats Colorado in the summer. Have fun road tripping in the new ride! (Did they give you a mileage limit?!)

Call me cuckoo but my favorite end-of-school family road trips of choice were drives to Palm Desert, CA and Houston, TX. I'd be packed and ready to go weeks ahead of time. Miss those days. Also, steer clear of Colorado... don't know if you've heard but, terrible fires are everywhere right now. Very sad.
Making an 18 hour trek to Disney in a few weeks with a 4.5 year old. Think it's too late to score my own pimp ride?!
"We" watch chipwrecked EVERY-FREAKING-DAY. I have recently quit drinking and I am really not sure how long I can hold out if I have to hear this thing one. more. time. At least the music is good, but that is all.

I hear the recent BMW Z4 was entirely designed by female engineers. I would love to see a mini-van entirely designed by newborn and toddler mothers. This is what it would like, I think. :)

Unfortunately, I have no sense of direction & my husband falls asleep as soon as he's in the passenger seat. One time, we ended up 2 hours south of where we should have been when I finally woke my husband up & said none of these signs look familiar. Six hours later, we were home. I should look into a GPS.
