What the Hubs Thought We'd Do All Day While the Kids are at School

I wrote about what my kids think the Hubs and I do all day while they're at school.  They were sad to find out that I spend most of the day working on the computer and/or doing laundry.

The Hubs was also a bit disappointed when he realized that's what we were going to do all day while the kids were away.  Apparently he had big plans for us.

In addition to our work and laundry duties, here is what the Hubs thought we'd do all day while the kids were at school:

1.  Nooner.  It doesn't necessarily need to transpire at noon.  He's open to mornings as well.

2.  Eat.  He works up an appetite when he's so . . . physical.  He'd like to eat out most days.  Preferably someplace without a kid's menu OR gorge himself on free samples at Costco and/or Sam's Club - ladies' choice.

3.  Nap.  What else is there to do when you've already accomplished 1 and 2 on the list?

I don't know, maybe I'm a lady full of testosterone, but it sounds like a plan to me!

...As long as this plan includes hiring a housekeeper as well. Of course not in my home while we belt out, "Let's get Physical," By Olivia Newton John, of course.

Are we reading the same blog post? Because I must have missed her doing that.

My husband has told me that if HE were the one to stay home ALL housework would be completed at ALL times because in any given week there is no WAY that all housework should take more than 4 hours . . . for the WEEK. That includes ALL housework. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, cooking, getting kids ready for stuff...EVERYTHING.

Ass.

Men. They are delusional most of the time.

The Judge is right. I don't remember reading that part of the blog either. Obviously sublimemonkey is reading elsewhere and commented under the wrong blog heading!

Mine would just sit in his undies and watch movie/surf the web. I on the other hand, would feel obligated to clean the house....

And sublimemonkey, if you're so keen, would you mind coming round and "servicing" my husband a few days a week?? :P

Tell him to take a week of vacation to stay home while you take a week of vacation anywhere but home and let him prove it.

I am totally down for that kind of day. I wish my man and I could "nooner" everyday. My man does his fair share or more of the house work. He has a seasonal job and he comes home 2 hours before I do. When I get home dinner is either cooking or on the table. When he gets laid off in the winter months, he does ALL the house work. He is a fantastic man and I know how lucky I am to have him.

Bahaha.. NOONER!

Aww, bless him! Obviously he thinks all the work gets done by the work fairy!

sublimemonkey - She said NOTHING close to even bragging about not having sex with her husband. Honestly why would you even care even if she WAS bragging about not having sex with her husband? You're not her husband, are you?

I am fairly positive I JUST had this conversation with my husband no more than 2 weeks ago LOL Since we work from home he pointed out all the things he was going to do to me after the kids start school in a few years.

I've been begging my husband for years to let me get a wife. Not a second wife for HIM...but one for me!! I want someone to clean my house, dishes, laundry, cook, bathe the dogs, and in general clean up after me....without getting paid for it! I told him that when I can get a wife - he can have nooners as much as he'd like with me!
