Chippy is Sorry That You Made Him Sad

OK, remember last week when I wrote about Lululemon's founder telling the world that there's nothing wrong with his yoga pants, rather it's your ass and thighs that are the problem?

Well, he apologized.

Only, it's one of the worst apologies ever given. This guy - Chippy, as I like to call him - took his apology to the Fuck You Level.

Watch my Apology. Sorry you made me sad.

Chippy got on Youtube and worked up a crocodile tear and told all of his employees at Lululemon he was sorry. Yup - his employees. Nope - he didn't apologize to the millions of women who shelled out a hundred bucks a pair for his shitty pants only so they could moon the world and or be covered in little annoying pills and then be blamed for these problems because they had no business wearing his pants with those thunder thighs.

This guy puts the dick in dickhead. I'm surprised Lululemon is still letting this guy talk. He needs a muzzle.

The hubris is astounding. The last time I saw such a fucked up apology was when a two-year-old told me, "Sorry usually works."

Yes, sorry usually does work, Chippy, but this time you would have been better off saying, "Namaste, motherfuckers."

OK, seriously, if you haven't stopped buying his pants yet, now it the time. Tweet Chippy and let him know you'll never buy his pants for the first time or ever again.

Find me on Facebook and Twitter.

I can't get the Youtube video to "unmute". I think I'll consider myself lucky and move on. Jackass!

Watching him reference what I assume is cue cards makes his apology even less sincere.....if that's possible.

He's sorry for the 'repercussions'.... really? How about being sorry you are charging too much money for inferior quality products while blaming it on women whose thighs rub together.

Nothing like perpetuating stereotypes about what the female body 'should' be, the kind that promote anorexia and unhealthy eating habits in those trying to reach that ridiculous standard...

I'm sorry I watched the video, and read the comments. My gawd the misandry and fat-shaming in the comments is sickening.

Namaste muthafuckers? Love that! I may have to add that to my repertoire!

Oh, he's sad. Doesn't everyone feel bad for him now? No? Yeah, didn't think so.
Lamest apology ever. Actually, it's a non-apology. He's apologizing to his employee's for them having to face the repercussions- never apologized for what he said. You know on the inside he's screaming "I'm sorry all these normal women with normal bodies are bitching about wanting quality atheticware!". Wait, no, that's not what he's saying, but I don't want to hear what he's saying because he's such a lame ass.

He is worthless, but you should really read the comments. Dickheads at best.

That is like saying, I'm sorry my shitty comment made you feel that way and may cost some of you underlings your jobs. Never apologizes for an overpriced product or his neanderthal comments.

Good business practices benefit both employees and customers. Chip needs to adjust his focus, and maybe let someone else do the talking for him. Nice touch with the tears though, Chippy!

Wow, the comments are shameful. I see women criticizing other women for daring to want to wear expensive pants in their size because they should know their body type. Seriously? If the pants say they are an XL, and I wear an XL in every other brand of pants, then why should I not trust that these are designed for my body type? When women's pants are designed with exact waist and length measurements like men's pants, then you can tell me I should have known. Until then, get off your high horse. And if you want to criticize fat chicks, at least change your profile pic so it doesn't show that you are one too.

I wish I could say I was shocked...but, no.

There is so much arrogance and 'holier than thou' attitudes these days...there's nothing shocking anymore.

But I haven't, and I won't purchase and damn thing from any place this douche is affiliated with.

I also had to stop reading the comments. Wow, couldn't believe the crap that was being spewed there. I guess if someone's an ass and you feel offended or angry, you're insecure. ????? How do those go together? Anyway,.....yeah, what an ass.

The big sigh before he actually has to say the words is what got me. Like it caused him actual physical pain to utter them.
Thank goodness I can't afford his pants anyways.
My Walmart yoga pants have seen me through 3 pregnancies just fine. And yes, I actually do yoga in them.
sometimes.

Is this an apology to customers and people he offended? Because nowhere does he say he IS sorry for what he said/thinks. What a sorry ass.

Awesome! sooo true - sizes for women are so skewed and confusing and deliberate in many ways! Great comment - love the last line!
