I won't say where I'm going...yet. I will say it's a long ride and I'm glad the minivan has a cooler for juice pouches - I just wish it had an onboard bathroom too.
We leave at the ass crack of dawn tomorrow (in this house that means 8ish) and I'll be on Twitter all day giving live updates. Be sure to click here and follow me on Twitter so you can be in the know.

And of course, I'll be pimping out shit the whole way: what I love about the 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite (it's more than just a pretty cup holder), my favorite blog posts from my archives, my favorite blog posts of other blogs I read, and of course, a question and answer time with me and the Hubs.
So do yourself a favor and clear your schedule now and be sure to follow me on Twitter for 8 hours of non stop, action packed, amazing and unpredictable exciting self promotion and pimpage unlike you have ever seen before (and, oh yeah, don't forget to follow the repeat on the journey home).

ReplyDeleteHate to tell you that we here in the Frozen Tundra Upper Midwest are looking at record highs in the next few days. 100's may be normal for you southern folks, but this is cause for great meterological alarm up here. Plus we're in a drought in some areas.

ReplyDeleteI need Honda to loan me a MCC for my 16 hour road trip to Washington, DC next month. I'll have a 1 year old, an 8 year old, my husband, mother in-law and father in-law! I'm leaving the dog at home because I can't take any more stress! Vacations always make me want to climb in bed and stay there until it is over!

ReplyDeleteCall me cuckoo but my favorite end-of-school family road trips of choice were drives to Palm Desert, CA and Houston, TX. I'd be packed and ready to go weeks ahead of time. Miss those days. Also, steer clear of Colorado... don't know if you've heard but, terrible fires are everywhere right now. Very sad.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I have no sense of direction & my husband falls asleep as soon as he's in the passenger seat. One time, we ended up 2 hours south of where we should have been when I finally woke my husband up & said none of these signs look familiar. Six hours later, we were home. I should look into a GPS.
