Ever since my blog blew up a few months ago I've received many, many emails from readers who have started their own blogs. I also know that many of you who read were blogging long before I came along.
I thought today would be a good day to share our blogs. I looked into the whole "linky" thing and to be honest, I couldn't figure it out (I'm a complete idiot when it comes to technical stuff) so we're going old school.
Please comment below and leave a link to your blog. Try to read and comment on as many as you can and share the ones you love.
And don't be afraid. I won't punch your blog....unless you want me to!
Oh this is a fabulous idea!

Had to take a look at your blog just from the title.CRAZY, I just wrote a post yesterday about how I am a Closet Lazy Ass,(I do cuss a bit in my blog, but not a ton) who is addicted to laying in bed and watching t.v., but no one would ever suspect it because I appear to be sooooo busy w/ work/husband/and four kids. p.s. I've even been known to punch someone or something in the neck via my blog.

I first found your blog after a friend posted a link to the Elf on the Shelf post. It was perfect, and resonated with me, as I am definitely not an overachieving mom - nor do I inspire to be one. My blog is (so not) superrunnermom: http://superrunnermom.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell. I found your blog through a friend of mine and you are hilarious. I will say in advance mine is not so witty, but since i can't find the time to keep up the baby book, or have the gene to scrapbook mine is what's going on in my girls life. Don't be surprised if you see the elf next christmas :-). Also you mini-van post is inspiring me.
ReplyDeletehttp://attackofthetwins.blogspot.com
When I first came across your blog, I laughed because the whole Elf thing reminded me of my friend Elizabeth, who had gone crazy with her Elf (panty raids? hanging from a chandelier?). Then, I found out that Elizabeth is also YOUR friend. Gotta love Kansas City, the big town that manages to still be little. *shrugs*
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I blog at Rancid Raves. I don't punch folks in the throat, but I might stick one of my tarantulas in their face. ;-)
WOW! Great idea! I started blogging (in earnest) after the new year. Not a lot of posts yet, but it's my motivator to getting some projects finished. Right now, it's mostly quilting and knitting related.

I love your blog - you are hilarious and tell it like it is, but there is a tender side that comes out too. My blog is an all-over-the-place kind of thing but I am trying to grow it, so thank you for this!

I recently discovered and love your blog! I write at www.10yearscancerfree.com but it spans everything from my work with Dana-Farber on their running team (Boston Marathon) to my running as a metaphor for life, love, and people I too want to punch in the face. Would love a swap link. Let me know! All the best - Helen Morey (helen@10yearscancerfree.com)
ReplyDeleteMy blog is primarily a book review blog, but I also talk about my pets and my quilting and everything in between!

Mine is more of a journal. I felt completely overwhelmed with teens, my husband of almost 20 years, aging parents, etc. Take a look if you want to get a glimpse of your future and then be super depressed, lol. I needed an outlet and have done this more as self therapy. It was either this or explode. This seemed less messy.

Thanks!
I hadn't blogged in FOREVER, but I picked it back up again recently. It doesn't have a theme, really, just random thoughts and adventures in parenting and life, like many others. But I'm a huge fan of yours!

Mine is more of a journal and kept because my daughter was born with a severe heart defect. It is boring compared to your blog:

Even if you don't stop by...I will definitely be reading your blog!
Check out my blog at www.somewhatsanemom.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI already posted it on facebook but I saw you said post it here too:) It's not even half as funny as yours but I try. With 3 daughters ages 6 and under, and a home daycare...i needed an outlet.
Happy to share mine - I started it about a year ago. It's basically just my thoughts and observations about life in general - but toward the end of last year it turned into an outlet for grief as I watched my father decline and then pass away from ALS. My blog is my personal form of therapy :)

It's not a mom blog, but I'd love if folks could check my blog out at hiddennj.com ... especially if you live in or near New Jersey and love to explore. Thanks, and I'll be checking out many listed here, too!
ReplyDeleteMine is kind of lame compared to yours but I try :). It's about my son.

I've been debating starting one for months now and finally this morning decided to go for it. So it.s pretty new and not nearly as clever as this one but I think it will help me through the next few years of raising kids. Well that and possibly some wine.

We built an environmentally friendly house in the country and are raising some of our own food. We homeschool. So I blog about random stuff that happens around our place mostly. Wish I was as hysterically funny as you, though:-/

I love this idea! I just started a blog this week, partly inspired by you, but I know it will never be as funny as yours is :) I only have one post so far but plan to keep 'em coming. The link: copingwithconniptions.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteJen - you are my alterego. I love you. Please write something about mothers (and now grandmothers) who play favorites and sister-in-laws you could live without since I can't - ha! Maybe one about how you know you have a really blessed life but you've still got things to complain about :o)
ReplyDeleteYou can check out my self-censored blog at www.sassypantsstudio.blogspot.com
